Helen's Blouse
needlework on blouse
27" x 26" x 9"

How does an image evoke memory? What remains or is remembered
after the individual dies? This work deals with the concepts of society
and the human condition. Life extends beyond the body, and physical
remembrances are one way we can bring them back to life. The
blouse itself that acts as a symbol for her body. It is a tribute to
one’s life before they die.
